A ROMANTIC AND TIMELESS PERSIAN WEDDING IN HAMPSHIRE

I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing couple or a more perfect setting for my first Persian wedding. Taking place at the beautiful Four Seasons Hampshire, we went from blush for the ceremony to bold for the reception.

When Golnessa got in touch, it was a no brainer that we had to work together to create this beautiful Persian wedding. Within the first call, we clicked and I understood the vision almost instantly, which was ideal as we only had two months until the big day!

The vision was clear, a soft and romantic Persian ceremony taking place in the Walled Garden at Four Seasons Hampshire leading to the party of all parties for the evening for this upbeat summer wedding. After two months of pandemic panic and late night voicenotes, we had finally planned Golnessa & Nick’s dream day!

On the morning of the wedding, we had a typical British summer forecast, grey clouds, rain and a cooler temperate, but nevertheless, the incredible team of suppliers rallied around to move the ceremony in doors and create a romantic setting for the Sofreh Aghd and although not the original plan, Golnessa was a vision walking down the indoor aisle in Berta.

It took me six weeks and of course our sample day, but I managed to persuade Golnessa & Nick to move away for plain white linen and be bold with a fusica coloured table cloth to complement the beautiful bold flowers within the design. I know this was the right decision after they walked into the ballroom and the tears of happiness continued for at least 10 minutes!

Guests partied away to the inceredible Ember in between courses before the DJ took over and we finished with confetti cannons and bespoke t shirts tossed onto the dance floor for a spectacular finale.

It’s safe to say guests were a little late to our Orchard Brunch the following morning.

I also felt so confident that everything was going to go smoothly down to the minute to minute organisation of the event that Hannah put together, she not only managed to capture my vision and exactly what I wanted- but managed to put it together so seamlessly, so effortlessly- whilst understanding all of the traditional ceremonial elements that go into an Iranian wedding.
